Away from the city but central to many attractions within a 30 minute drive. Great hiking routes right from their doorstep too. Great service, friendly staff. Loved picking our herbs straight from the garden. Great place to go out and sightsee and explore and then come and unwind. Had massages and yoga too. Very quiet and peaceful place. I loved the gardens, the yoga studio, a wonderful massage, and the food was excellent. The chef was very nice and accommodated my dietary requirements.i didn't have a car but I worked from here for a week, WiFi is ok, and I enjoyed walking. Een kleine B&B met een eigen zwembadje maar waar ook een aantal camperplaatsen zijn. Wij hadden 3 dagen gereserveerd (via SVR) en zijn door het bijzonder vriendelijke personeel ontvangen. We waren op dat moment de enige campergasten en mochten zelf een plekje uitzoeken. Omdat onze camper met 7,20 m toch wel groot te noemen was, had ik bij het op- en afrijden wel wat extra aanwijzingen nodig maar verder probleemloos gestaan. Weer eens heel iets anders dan de gebruikelijke camping en camperplaatsen. Dankjewel voor jullie goede zorgen en vriendelijke ontvangst. Als we in de buurt zijn komen we zeker terug.Anita P04/07/2023This is a unique place and needs to be experienced to appreciate it. I spent a week at Monte Rosa and it wasn’t enough as this was one of the most relaxing holidays I’ve had in a long time. The staff and volunteers were really kind and friendly but not overly so. Estávamos a buscar algum sítio para fugir do caos e stress dos dias actuais, e ouvir nada além dos pássaros e folhas ao vento. Pois demos muita sorte de encontrar o Monte Rosa. Escolhemos uma cabana com cozinha e casa de banho e ficamos dias a aproveitar a piscina, o silêncio, os jardins e o clima do Algarve. As praias paradisíacas de Lagos ficam a apenas 15 minutos de carro. Porém, em um dia alugamos bikes directamente na receção e fizemos um lindo passeio. O staff é adorável! Penso que poucas vezes fomos recebidos com tanta atenção e vontade de ver um sorriso. Definitivamente uma estadia a se repetir

I had a great time in Monte Rosa. It´s a nice, cosy and pleasant place with all nice people around. Traveling and biking alone here was always nice to meet the people working here and other guests. We had a very nice dinner together from the chef (hazelnut burger and sweet potato with spinach sauce). And we wnt together to The italian restaurant in Barão de São João (Ca la Mora). We even danced together. It was a great time. Biking a lot on a very nice bike and a nice surrounding. I had a great time.

Dear dear people from Monte Rosa,
For 3 mothers with 3 babies, Monte Rosa was the perfect place to take some rest, have nice conversations and to be able to enjoy Vini’s delicious food. During breakfast and dinner we made a mess, we are sorry for that.
And Laura is the best!!!! It was because of her that we could really enjoy the yoga, knowing that all our babies are safe and well taken care of. We will come back. Our greetings,

Es un remanso de paz y un sitio ideal para aislarse del mundanal ruido. Estaba todo muy limpio y el trato ha sido muy agradable. Lástima que solo pudimos estar dos noches. Es como para encerrarse allí varios días seguidos. Muy recomendable.

Ou sítio ideal para descansar. Fomos muito bem recebidos, com muito tranquilidade e boa disposição. Toda e casa é super baby friendly e pet friendly. Ou que torna e experiência ainda melhor.
