We ask our guests to check out by 10.30 at the latest on the day of departure. For departures before 8.00, we ask you to check out with us before 19.00 the night before. If you leave late because you have a late flight, it is possible to leave your luggage with us under supervision and enjoy the garden and swimming pool on your last day. If no new booking is scheduled on your day of departure, we can decide upon consultation whether a later check-out date is possible, at a charge of \u20ac20 per room\/ \u20ac30 per house.<\/p>\n

In general, you can check-in from 14.00 hours on the day of arrival. If you expect to arrive earlier at Monte Rosa, please let us know in advance. We will try our best to have the room ready for you. In case the room is not ready yet, it is possible to store your luggage. Meanwhile you can enjoy a nice breakfast, a drink in the garden or take a dip in the pool.<\/span><\/p>\n

BREAKFAST
We serve a daily breakfast between 08.30 and 10.00. Usually it is a buffet that includes warm bread, various cheeses and jams, coffee\/tea, fresh juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, home made muesli and eggs. On request we also serve oat porridge. The price for breakfast is \u20ac12 p.p., for children till the age of 8 it is \u20ac6.<\/p>\n

LUNCH
We only serve lunch to groups starting from 8 people, \u20ac14 per person. During breakfast guests can make their own packed lunch for \u20ac8 per person, with sandwiches, fruit, muesli bar and juice or water.<\/p>\n

DINNER
From April to September we serve a three-course dinner (usually a Portuguese menu or vegetarian) on Tuesdays, when we have a min. amount of 6 participants. Price \u20ac25, including wine or other beverage. Children till the age of 8 pay \u20ac12,50, drinks included.<\/p>\n

Dietary requirements can always be taken into account.<\/p>\n

For drinks and snacks we have an ‘honesty bar’ that works with a self service system. You keep score of your consumption at a ‘barbill’ and pay when leaving, preferably in cash , if not by internet banking.<\/p>\n

No, at Monte Rosa you can only pay in cash or you can make a transfer with internet banking. The nearest ATM is in Bar\u00e3o de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o (2km).<\/p>\n

Yes, there is a bus stop in front of Monte Rosa to Lagos (10 km) at 8.02 a.m\u00a0 and at 8.04 p.m on weekdays. On weekends, there is transportation to the village of Bar\u00e3o de S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o (2 km) at 19:04 p.m.<\/p>\n

From the zoo (15 min walking) you can go seven times a day to Lagos.<\/p>\n

With the Uber app you can go or come to Monte Rosa for approximately \u20ac8.<\/p>\n

No, the beds are made on arrival and two towels per guest are provided. We do ask you to bring your own beach towels. You can also rent beach towels at Monte Rosa for \u20ac5 per week. Sheets are changed every week and twice a week you will receive fresh towels and dishcloths. <\/span><\/p>\n

We ask our guests to leave the room\/house \u2018wipe clean\u2019. This means you leave no dirty dishes left, the trash cans are emptied and the room\/house has been swept. In this way, no additional cleaning fee will be charged. If you don\u2019t feel like leaving it tidy yourself, for an extra charge of \u20ac20 per room or \u20ac40 per house we can arrange the final cleaning for you.<\/p>\n
