Biodanza

Dopo un riuscito workshop Biodanza nel 2008, Mariette Reitsma (olandese, parla inglese) ha organizzato un'altra settimana nel periodo 11-18 luglio 2009.

Biodanza č la danza della vita. E' semplice, opportuna e viene dal cuore. E' un metodo di integrazione sociale ad una vita sana e amorevole. I molti e vari esercizi di danza possiedono un ritmo 'organico'. In un momento state ballando su Chopin e Vivaldi, in un altro suonate il flauto di pan a ritmo di salsa, jazz o Robbie Williams. Senza pensarci entrate nel ritmo muovendo il vostro corpo in modo spontaneo. Per la Biodanza non dovete essere in perfette condizioni, non dovete essere esperti ballerini. Non si tratta di creare meravigliosi movimenti. E' soltanto essere totalmente se stessi, presenti nel momento con quello che c'č. Danzate alternatamente da soli o con altri del gruppo. Il contatto č importante, attraverso occhi, mani e cuore.

What you will be taught
Chen Style Tai Chi
For Beginners, the basic movements and philosophy. Si Fan Quan/18 Part Form
For More Advanced students, 18 Part Form and LaoJia Yilu (72 Part Form)
For all, simple applications and push hands.

Qi Gong/Meditation
Various. Meditation. Relaxation. Static and Moving Qi Gong to help strengthen the tendons and muscles. Open the heart. Clear and focus the mind. Developing the virtues of love and compassion within us.

Kung Fu
Shaolin based basics and fitness. Forms and San Shou (Chinese kick boxing)

Tai Ji, Kung Fu and Qi Gong help to develop fitness and well being, improve core strength and discipline, internal balance and calm the mind. Skills learnt can not only be used for self defence but also, and most importantly, to help find focus in life. Practise brings awareness and clarity to the practitioner.

Who we are
Paul and Martine have been training in Martial Arts most of their lives. They have studied full time for the last 7 years in the disciplines of Qi Gong, Kung Fu and specialising in Tai Chi. They have their own school and have dedicated themselves to furthering not only their own knowledge but also the knowledge of others so that students may have an understanding of themselves and therefore an understanding of Love, Life and Nature. Price and schedule
Price for the workshop 180 euros (bed&breakfast not included)
Approximately 25 - 30Hrs over the week – Including Tai Chi, Qi Gong/Meditation and Kung Fu
Rough Schedule (Subject to change):
4-6 Hours a day
Breakdown:
Mornings – Between 5am and 9am. Kung Fu, Qi Gong/Meditation and 2 Hours of Tai Chi
Late Afternoons/Early evening – Sometime between 5pm and 7pm depending on heat. 1-2 Hours Tai Chi
Late Evening – There will be an option to do some late night Qi Gong and Tai Chi practise on a couple of nights.
Kung Fu is an extra for those that wish to try; the main bulk of the retreat however is the Practise of Tai Chi & Qi Gong. The retreat is open to all levels. Classes will begin together and then split off appropriate to the skills of the students. The sessions are not compulsory but will be taught in order and for the full benefit people should try to attend all. We want for the students to “Experience” the training as a part of their lives and not just learn the movements of forms etc. We hope that people will feel a tranquillity and peace during the week and acquire the skills to keep that feeling in their everyday lives.

Ogni martedě sera potete cenare al ristorante Cangalho godendovi uno spettacolo di autentico Fado, la musica tradizionale portoghese.
