Sandra
In my work as a counsellor my inspiration has come from Maslow, Lowen, Osho, Deepak Chopra, Loise Hay, the Dalai Lama and the powerful method of Zen therapy (David Brazier).
Besides giving verbal guidance and support to begin the process of awareness, I can use several other tecniques like hypnotherapy, role playing, breathing sessions, inner child work, keeping a diary, and meditation. I can provide suitable literature for the issues that you would like to work out.
Whilst in Portugal I have trained in psychotherapy and hypnotherapy and I am practiced in Gestallt and psychosynthesis work.
I am currently investigating the relationship between western psychotherapy and eastern spirituality. Zen therapy is based on developeing freedom, not freedom of choice as a consumer, but the freedom that we experience when living from our deepest desires, freed from conditioning.
Issues that we can work on:
- Creating balance between empathising with others and observing ones own boundaries.
- Developing true vision and clarifying where the dilemmas lie.
- Learning to recognize your inner child and embrace it.
- From being solitary coming to a state of being integrated
- Co-dependency
- · Finding the courage and strength to act.
I myself have also undergone counseling to attain clarity of purpose. It benefitted me and that is why I would recommend others to also find out what is essential to them; as a result gaining strength and motivation in your profession, preventing stress, fatigue and illness.
I am happy to offer you my support at Monte Rosa.
Bye for now, Sandra
