Practical Information

Meals. We serve dinner from April through September, four times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday at 7.30 pm., please sign up before 10.00 am. If you would like dinner on the day of your arrival, please inform us before hand. This may be an attractive option after a long journey. On arrival we can always offer you a sandwich and something to drink.
Breakfast is served between 9.00 am. and 10.00 am.

Sheets/towels. We provide sheets and towels. Sheets will be changed once a week, towels twice a week.

Cleaning. Once a week we will clean up your appartment. You are free to use the cleaning materials in the communal cleaning cupboard.

Smoking. Smoking is prohibited inside the buildings, outside it is allowed. Please be aware of fire hazard.

Washing machine. This is for communal use.

Baby-sitting. We can arrange this on your request.

Excursions. These can be organized at your request.

Cats. We have five cats at Monte Rosa, which we enjoy a lot. Cats are hard to train so it is unavoidable that they sometimes enter the rooms. Although we disapprove of this, it is impossible to avoid it entirely. As we are aware that some people are allergic to cats, we like to inform you of their presence beforehand and apologise should they intrude where they don't belong.
