MARIEKE

(1979) Ten years ago Marieke fell in love with Portugal. She decided to study Portuguese Language & Culture and spent a lot of time on the Costa Alentejana. In the Netherlands she worked as a freelance copywriter and gained experience in various PR and communication functions. The Portuguese landscape, the wonderful climate, the outdoor life rhythm of Portugal continued to draw and at the start of 2018 the helm changed. Together with her dog Billy, Marieke moved to Monte Rosa. She now takes care of the administration and guest communication and is also your host. As an enthusiastic hiker, Marieke can also contribute to organizing and guiding walking tours.

ARIANNE

(1990) is the daughter of Sandra. From her third year she lived on Monte Rosa and she saw how a small pension net grew into a large holiday park. Arianne pledged her heart to Lisbon, where she studied communication, marketing and graphic design / design. She now has a nice job at a start-up of a fashionable Portuguese shoe brand. Since April 2017, it occupies a stylish accommodation in the beautiful historic center of Lisbon, from which it rents the front 3-room apartment. This allows our guests to combine their holidays with a cultural stay in the heart of Lisbon. Arianne is your hostess and can show you around in this charming city.
Pictures of the apartment can be found on our website at `accommodation' and on www.happystayinlisbon.com
